The department performs the following functions, amongst others:

A. General administration, formulation, execution and review of personnel policies.

B. Coordination of matters relating to appointment, promotion, advancement, conversion and confirmation.

C. Discipline of staff and related matters.

D. Processing request for advances and leaves.

E. Handling of staff welfare matters and training needs etc.
